Paramedics are on the scene of a plane crash which occurred a short while ago south of Johannesburg in Midrand.
Eyewitness Stephanus Volschenk told reporters he saw the plane coming down in front of his vehicle in Albertyn street.

During the crash two people were reportedly killed, the pilot of the aircraft and a gardener who was working in the yard at the time.
Netcare911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said from the scene.
The cause of the crash is still unknown but after a scene assessment the pilot and a gardener tragically died
A South African Civil Aircraft Aviation investigation will follow.
