After a series of brutal assaults, a pupil at the popular Greys College was escorted around school by a bodyguard, according to the Sunday paper.
The first reports of this emerged last Monday morning after fellow pupils were stunned to see the 16-year-old arrive to class with a bodyguard by his side.

One week later the grade 10 pupils parents announced he will now complete his studies at home. After the boy’s mother and schools management came to an agreement over growing concerns for his safety.
You must leave this f*cking school.
Was just the beginning of the abuse the boy received by fellow classmates. Another incident included his head being hit against a wall leaving him with stitches and in hospital. Later that month the 16-year-old had objects thrown at him before being repeatedly kicked by a group on the grounds sports field.
A letter emerged stating this abuse was due to the fact the pupil had an ongoing disregard for the school’s traditions.
We don’t bully one another, but we sort one another out.
A pupil wrote.
He should have seen it coming.
The school’s principal, Deon Scheepers, has responded to the incident stating the boy is welcome to attend school but without his bodyguards.
One might think the measures implemented here by his parents were a bit extreme, his mother doesn’t see it as so.
