“WE ALWAYS USE MUTI” – ARMED ROBBER DETAILS HOW CASH HEISTS ARE EXECUTED

Johannesburg – A convicted armed robber has detailed how meticulous in their planning they were – using inside information, police uniforms and muthi to carry-out their cash heists.

Crime Watch went to prison to meet a convicted armed robber, Themba Mhlanga.

Mhlanga, who is serving a 98-year sentence spoke to Yusuf Abramjee inside the walls of Boksburg Maximum Security Prison.

He details how he was part of a gang of 11 who robbed a cash-in-transit vehicle in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

He says six of them were arrested and convicted while one died on the scene, reports ENCA
